OUR STORY
Built in 1910, our beautiful big red barn has stood at the center of our farm ever since. Passed on for generations, our small family farm has seen some big updates in recent years.
Kylie lived and worked on the farm growing up alongside her parents and grandparents. When Kylie and Adam met in 2022, much of their time was spent on the farm. After plenty of dates in the barn, Adam proposed to Kylie in the hayloft on a chilly Christmas Eve morning in 2023. They quickly began the process of planning their wedding and they knew exactly where they wanted to say "I do."
We completed our planned 10 year renovation project in 9 months. It took tons of help from family and friends, endless scrolling on Pinterest and Facebook Marketplace, and plenty of supply runs. But time flew by and our dream came to life. And it turned out better than we ever could have imagined.
Kylie and Adam became the first couple to get married at the barn in August 2024. It truly was a perfect day. Everyone who has stepped foot in the barn has been blown away by its beauty and rustic charm. Now we want to share the experience with all of you!

We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have such a loving, hard-working, and tight-knit family. Even while running a successful farm, Grandpa and Grandma have made family their number one priority. Every event we host is a labor of love as we work together as a family to make sure your day is perfect.

We offer a unique and charming atmosphere for your upcoming celebration. We are dedicated to making your wedding, anniversary, or other special event a dream come true.

Booking & Pricing
The Barn at Pitzer Farms is located in Lee County just outside of Amboy, IL. We are a half mile from the Lee County 4H Center and Fairgrounds.
At the barn we offer weekday or weekend reservations for events such as weddings, anniversaries, church services, etc. We are open for reservations from April to October. We are strictly a ceremony venue, we do not offer a reception space. Our neighbors, the Lee County Fairgrounds, feature a large, open space great for receptions, parties, etc. While maintaining a close business partnership we remain two separate venues. We have a collaborative approach to make your special day as seamless as possible, however reservations and payments will need to be made separately.
